Make your steps count for education!
Each year, Need in Deed hosts a run/walk to create awareness for the need for equitable public education in Philadelphia and raise funds to support our work toward this vision.
This year’s Steps for Education campaign will again be virtual: over the eight weeks from July 14 to September 8, 2021, you can participate from wherever you walk, run, bike, or swim.
Whether you are at home or traveling, whether you are walking your dog or running trails, biking to work or counting laps in the pool, you can take us the “extra mile” to our goal of raising $17,500.
You can take steps for education by:
– Registering to be a participant and inviting your family, friends, and colleagues to make a donation.
– Sharing the information and inviting others to participate.
– Joining Chubb and Athleta in sponsoring the campaign.
– Making a donation (from the comfort of your beach chair) in support of a participant or the campaign.
