Our supporters give to Need in Deed because they believe in the potential of every Philadelphia student. They believe in the power of connecting the classroom with the community to help each student realize that potential.
$25 provides classroom supplies for students
$50 provides our signature My Voice service-learning guide to one Philadelphia public school teacher
$100 provides materials and supplies for service project
$400 provides one bus for 30 students to attend the Shout Out (our annual celebration of student learning)
$500 provides materials for monthly teacher network meetings
$1,000 sends a new teacher partner to the My Voice Summer Institute (annual orientation and training)
$3,000 sends 300 students to the Shout Out
$5,500 supports one Need in Deed classroom for the school year
